"New Twp. Hall Open Mtg."
The Harrison Township Trustees will hold Special Meetings on July 19, August 16, September 20, October 18 and
November 15, 2010 (third Monday of every month July through November) at 7:00 p.m. for the purpose of discussing a new township
hall and any other business that comes before the board.  The meeting will be held at the Harrison Township Administration Building
located at 6750 Outville Road, Pataskala.  the public is invited to attend.

September 16, 2010.  Both sessions are open to the public and will be held at Kirkersville Elementary School (215 North 5th Street, Kirkersville).

During the session, the Zoning Commission will present information about the Business District Rezoning Project.  During the past two years, the Zoning
commission has reviewed the existing district zoning as well as the future land use plan.  The first result was a modified business district zoning regulation
(Article 15 ) that created different types of business districts, based on the use and size of the business.  Previously, the township had a "one-size fits all"
business district.

The next step was to address where the business districts should be located within the Township.  The Township residents have been clear that the desire is to
preserve the rural and residential nature of the area as well as to allow and encourage business growth.  The future land use plan was developed to provide for
both goals and to specifically direct the business and commercial growth in areas that could support the growth, in terms of roads and other infrastructure
needs.  Harrison Township lots along the current business district (Broad St, Outville Rd, Rt. 310 north of Pataskala, National Rd east of Kirkersville, Keller Rd
east of Kirkersville, and intersections of Watkins and Wesleyan Church Rds, Watkins and Hollow Rds, Watkins and Creek Rds, Smoke and Creek Rds, York and
Beaver Run Rds, and York and Refugee Rds.

The zoning Commission will have on display maps that show the Township's current zoning districts ( Harrison Zoning Map ) ,the proposed changes to the
districts ( Proposed Zoning Map )and the future land use ( Future Land Use Map ).

You are certainly welcome to attend both information Sessions, however both sessions will present the same information, so please choose the session that
best fits your schedule.
