Harrison Township Awarded Grant For Playground Equipment
The Licking County Planning Commission, at its regular April meeting, has awarded Harrison
Township a $45,000 grant to be used to add playground equipment to its 30 acre complex on
Outville Road. The grant was from funds collected since 2003 from residential developers in
Licking County in the form of impact fees for new developments. The Harrison Township
Trustees, Ray Foor, Larry Kretzmann and Eric Smith were present for the award. This appears
to be the first award of its kind in Licking County. The Trustees are preparing to have the
equipment in place by Memorial Day weekend.
